The Best of Nurin’s Library + REVIEW!

Maybe I hadn’t mentioned this yet, but I am a HUGA FANATIC of novels! Books have never failed to make me laugh and entertain me whenever I am down. A book opens a reader’s imagination and expands our way of thinking. Here today, I am going to share with you 5 of my favourite novels that have given a meaning to my life. Oh, I’ll try and not spoil the whole plot to you all because what’s the point of reading something when you know what’ll happen next?

BOOK 1 : Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban by our queen, J.K. Rowling

To be honest with you all, all the Harry Potter books are totally the bomb. Being a full-time potterhead myself, I have never found a book as truly fascinating as the Harry Potter series. But my favourite out of all 8 books is The Prisoner of Azkaban. Why? Because it was in this book that had the biggest plot twist. After thinking that Sirius Black was a terrorist, it was actually a petty little rat behind all the crimes and commotion. Plus, in this book, there was a lot of exciting action happening even in the first scenes, especially the part where Harry blew up his aunt! It was in this book that we found out time turners existed in the wizarding world. Time turners are like super cool. If I could choose one item from the wizarding world to take, I would choose a time turner. Like who wouldn’t love the ability to turn time?

BOOK 2 : How my Private, Personal Journal Became a Bestseller by Juila DeVillers

The first time I read this book was when I was around 10 years old. It’s about a girl whose journal turned into a bestselling fiction book. It is one of my absolute favourites until this day because I dream to be like the protagonist one day, a successful author. Only what happened in this book was a totally plain good luck. In the real world, we cannot only depend on luck to become successful. It takes hard work and courage to achieve something so big. Up until now, I guess my writing would sound like crap because I want to review this book without spoiling the plot :)) This book taught me a lot of values too. I learned to be grateful for a healthy body and grateful for all the lovely people in my life.

BOOK 3 : The Witches by Roald Dahl

This book is something like a horror novel + a children’s adventure story! This action packed story about a boy and his grandma will come to your mind anytime! This book might even haunt you to walk alone to school. But as scary as it sounds, it has some pretty good morals too. I learned that we must always be courageous and be proud to say the truth. Furthermore, the story teaches that even the smallest people can make the biggest differences. I actually don’t know what else to say except that the story is really good, so good luck to reading this book!

BOOK 4 : Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis

An old classic which is super fun to read at any time of the day. This book has been made into a movie and it’s super cool too. The story continues after another book about two brothers and two sisters which conquer some magical land and then go back to earth. In this book, they accidentally came back to this land once again but when they came, the kingdom was destroyed. Then they joined forces with this Prince Caspian and saved the world together again! Some values I learned from this book is, we must always think things through before we act.

BOOK 5 : P/S : I Still Love You by Jenny Han

This book is part of the To All The Boys I Loved Before trilogy, but the second book is my favourite! In this book, the author revealed the true side of every character, including the people we thought were really nasty in the first book. In this book, we can learn that everyone has their own problems and they have their own reason for every action they make. I also learned to appreciate everyone around me too.

With all being said, I hope it comes in handy when you’re choosing the next book to buy! This is all just my own opinion so it’s fine if you dislike some that is listed above. Let your imagination expand as your indulging every sentence of a book. For the writers out there, remember that the more you read, the better you write! Peace out.
