This year we went to Spain, another country full of history. History is full in cities like Granada and Cordoba. We also went to places like Malaga and Gibraltar. The weather there is nice. Sometimes warm, sometimes cool, not too hot, not too cold.
In Granada is the palace of Alhambra. Alhambra used to be a palace and also a fortress. It is a very big place. Many years ago it was known to be a place for the Muslims. The building has 13 towers. We saw some of the towers.
In Cordoba there is a mosque that has been turned into a cathedral. Cordoba was the largest and the richest city of Europe and the construction of the mosque added more to its beauty.
We also went to France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium in June. We went to these four countries in one trip. At this time, we were living in the UK. So we went by car via a ferry from Dover, UK to France.
In France, we went to Paris and saw the Eiffel Tower, Notredame and Arc de Triumph. In Switzerland, we went to see some waterfalls and lakes. In Germany, we went to see the Mercedes Benz museum. In Belgium, we went to see the Atomium. It was all a lot of fun!!
