My School Trip

A few weeks ago, my class and the other Year 4 classes went on a field trip. I couldn’t wait to gobut I also felt a little bit worried. The reason is, I’ve never been on a school trip since I entered this school. So I didn’t know what to bring or where everyone will be gathering before leaving school.

We went to two different places. One is the Islamic Arts Museum or IAMM which is located near the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur. The moment we arrived we saw beautiful art exhibits everywhere. The carved ceiling made the building look more interesting in my view.

When we were all gathered, the museum staff gave a briefing about the museum. Each group was given a sheet to fill in with the facts in each gallery in the museum. It was tricky solving the questions but my group managed to get nearly all of the questions right. When all the groups have completed their quizzes, we were on our way to the chocolate factory.

The moment I stepped out of the bus at the chocolate factory, the rich smell of chocolate filled my nose. My mouth was watering as I went into the factory. But somehow I didn’t seem hungry when I had a look around.

I was interested in all the facts and history about chocolate. There was even a whole corner full of exhibits about cocoa beans. Then, we took a tour around the factory and saw how the delicious chocolate we eat today was made. Soon, the tour was completed. When the teachers let us go to the chocolate shop, everyone was running, snatching all the delicious chocolates from the shelves. The shop was almost empty.Once everyone was ready, we all grabbed our bags and headed to the bus.

On the way back to school, everyone sat happily staring at the window, thinking of more adventures that might come after this……..
